It’s Liverpool FC’s highest-selling jersey of all-time and forced the club to order more to cope with demand as they continue their Premier League and their Champions League run.The deal, though, runs out after next season and already there is plenty of speculation about which company will be the one to create their next few strips from 2020/21 onwards.Any new contract will undoubtedly be the highest in Liverpool history, while it could also be one of the biggest ever. And this hype has led to several designers attempting their own concept kits ahead of the news with adidas, who sponsored the club in the 1980s and early 1990s, a popular choice to create. Will this title-winning strip inspire designers in 2020?2

Another designer, CFK Designs (cfk.designs) has also given his attempts using similar retro inspiration. The home strip has a touch of 1989-1991 about it with a liverbird pattern throughout the jersey, meanwhile the away kit sees Liverpool go back to the black and red the club have been using in recent years with a large red liverbird pattern on the left side of the body. The third jersey is also green but has LFC and ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ amongst the diagonal patterns over the shirt.
