Chelsea loanee Mason Mount has recommended a move abroad for young players seeking more game time.The 19-year-old spent last season on loan in the Eredivisie with Vitesse before he was sent out to Championship side Derby this term.And while many bright Chelsea careers fade away in the Netherlands, Mounts loan spell was incredibly fruitful.He bagged 14 goals and ten assists, appeared in the Eredivisie Team of the Week on several occasions and even collected the clubs Player of the Season award.

For me to go out on loan and play in a top professional league and gain experience, rather than sitting in the Chelsea Under-23s.I didnt want to do that, Id already had a year playing Under-23s and I felt that I needed to move on and test myself away from England.It was the best decision I made because I went out there, gained so much experience and playing time, and that set me up moving on.
