Arsenal 3-3 Chelsea, September 1996

A managerless Arsenal were blown away by Chelsea in the first 45 minutes of this match and found themselves 2-0 down after goals from Frank Leboeuf and Gianluca Vialli.7

The Gunners turned the game on its head, though, when goals from Paul Merson, Martin Keown and Ian Wright put them 3-2 up.The Blues had the last laugh when Dennis Wise got an equaliser in this classic clash.

This thriller was settled with an absolute screamer scored from an unlikely source.Nigel Winterburn popped up with a 30 yard thunderbolt to decide this match.Chelsea had to play the final 20 minutes of the match with ten men when Frank Leboeuf was given his marching orders.

The Blues were losing 2-1 after the first leg and Gianluca Vialli took charge of the team after the sacking of Ruud Gullit.Vialli masterminded the comeback to send his team into the final of the competition.

Arsenal 0-5 Chelsea, November 1998 League Cup

This was Arsenals heaviest-ever home defeat in this League Cup clash at Highbury.The home side could have been well ahead before Frank Leboeuf tucked away a penalty.Vialli doubled the lead before Gus Poyet killed off the game for the Blues.They both then scored again to rub salt into the wound.7

Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal, October 1999

The Gunners came back from two goals down at Stamford Bridge to win this one 3-2 thanks to a stunning hat-trick from Kanu.The third was out of this world as the striker rounded the goalkeeper close to the byline before firing in from the tightest of angles.7

Arsenal 1-2 Chelsea, April 2004 Champions League quarter-final
