Everton boss Marco Silva gave special praise to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, claiming the striker is improving every match he plays following their win at home to Arsenal.The Toffees rose to ninth in the Premier League table after winning the match 1-0 thanks to Phil Jagielka’s early strike.2

Calvert-Lewin, 22, led the line effectively and caused the visitors’ defence problems throughout the game.The striker has started Everton’s last six matches – winning four, drawing one and losing one – scoring two goals in the process.And although he wasn’t on the scoresheet against Arsenal, Silva stressed the whole team performed well but gave a special mention to Calvert-Lewin. Speaking after the game, Silva said on Calvert-Lewin: “Hes growing, hes developing and its my job to help him keep developing as a football player and he had a very good game.All of them did well but Dominic is just enjoying what hes doing.Hes working hard to do what I ask him because its not an easy thing to be our main man [up front] but hes working hard and achieving some things in each match.“He’s improving each match and hes doing everything that I want.”2
