Lennon won three league titles and two Scottish Cups in just over four years as Celtic manager after taking over from Tony Mowbray, initially on a temporary basis, in March 2010.He will be assisted at Celtic Park in his second spell in the hotseat by Damien Duff and John Kennedy.“I am absolutely delighted to be named manager of Celtic again,” said Lennon.“This is a club which has been such a huge part of my life already and it is an honour to be asked to return. I have given everything to Celtic as a player and manager already in my career and I am ready to do the same again. I will be doing all I can to continue the great work that has gone on in recent years.“I am delighted that John Kennedy and Damien Duff have agreed to be part of my team. Rodgers signed a deal with the Foxes until June 2022 after compensation was agreed with Celtic.The 46-year-old, who was at the King Power Stadium to watch his new side’s Premier League match with Brighton on Tuesday night, said on the club website: “I’m very privileged and honoured to be here as Leicester City manager and I’ll give my life to make the supporters proud of their club.“Together, we’ll be stronger and I’m looking forward to working with the players, staff and supporters to make the right steps forward.”Rodgers, the formerLiverpool boss, had been in charge at Parkhead since 2016 and led Celtic to an unprecedented domestic double-treble with the Hoops on course for a third.Celtic are eight points clear of Rangers with the Betfred Cup already in the trophy room and with a William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-final against Hibernian, whom Lennon left in January, to come at Easter Road on Saturday.Rodgers is Leicester’s third permanent manager since they sacked title-winning boss Claudio Ranieri in February 2017.
