Simon Jordan has responded to talkSPORTs exclusive interview with Laurence Bassini, and still believes his prospective takeover is not good news for Bolton.In a rare chat with Jim White, Bassini laid out his plans for the Trotters if his purchase of the in-trouble club goes through and assured fans their beloved Bolton would be in good hands.

The businessman also called out former Crystal Palace owner Jordan, who said on talkSPORT earlier this week that Bassini is even worse than current owner Ken Anderson.On Wednesday, Jordan told talkSPORT he knew Bassini from 2012, when they were in discussions over a potential deal to take over at Portsmouth.
